JOINT COMMUNIQUE ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES AND THE REPUBLIC OF THE GAMBIA
The Government of the Republic of the Philippines and the Government of the Republic of the Gambia,
Desirous of strengthening the friendship between their peoples and developing relations of cooperation between their countries on the basis of the principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, particularly on the principles of equality, mutual respect for national sovereignty and non-interference in the international affairs of States,

Have decided to establish diplomatic relations between the two countries at the Ambassadorial level effective the date of conclusion of this Joint Communique.
