JOINT PRESS STATEMENT
Desirous of developing the existing friendship between their two peoples for mutual cultural, economic, political, social and trade benefits, the Government of the State of Eritrea and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines hereby agree to accredit to each other their respective ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary who shall reside in a foreign capital near each other's capital city.
To this end, the Plenipotentiaries of the two Governments, after exhibiting their full powers, hereby affix their signatures to this Statement at the City of Beijing on the 27th Day of the Month of October in the Year One Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety Five.
