This Agreed Minutes is concluded and signed between the Center for Renewable Energy Research and Application (Geothermal Division), hereinafter called CERERA of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Department of Energy of the Republic of the Philippines. Both the Center and the Department are hereinafter called the "SIDES".

Both SIDES have agreed on the following:

- Both SIDES agreed to cooperate in the field of exploration,development and production of geothermal resources .

- The Philippine side expressed its readiness to cooperate with the Iranian side in the exploration, development and production of existing geothermal resources on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

- Both sides emphasized that the relevant technical personnel of both countries should supervise the geothermal projects intended to put into operation with the support and assistance of each other in the territories of the two countries.

- Both sides further agreed to install geothermal technology training programs in each country to enhance the level of the technology.

- Both sides agreed to transfer the relevant technology of the geothermal to the other side.

- The two sides further agreed to exchange information/data, technical know-how, expertise and technology, technical and scientific publications on a mutual and reciprocal basis.

- Both parties further agreed to allow their technical specialists to visit the site of geothermal projects established in two countries.

- Both sides agreed to set up a joint-committee composed of geothermal technical specialists of both countries.

- Both parties further agrees to write a detailed implementing guidelines of these agreement.

This agreed minutes is made in two original copies in English and Persian on October 9, 1995 (17, Mehr 1374) in Manila, both texts being equally authentic.
