PROVISIONAL AUTHORITY GRANTED TO PUJ SERVICE INVOLVING ENTRY TO EDSA

SUBJECT:
PROVISIONAL AUTHORITY GRANTED TO PUJ SERVICE INVOLVING ENTRY TO EDSA

Pursuant to the policy of the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) to decongest EDSA, the Board, in the exercise of its power embodied in Section 5 of Executive Order No. 202, shall no longer allow PUJs to traverse along EDSA.

In this regard, all provisional authorities previously granted to PUJ operators which allow them to ply along EDSA shall no longer be renewed/extended. No new provisional authority shall likewise be granted to this effect.

All PUJ Operators are therefore required to strictly follow their approved routes.

All issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby cancelled revoked.

This Memorandum shall take effect fifteen (15) days following its publication in at least two (2) newspapers of general circulation. Let three (3) copies hereof be filed with the UP Law Center pursuant to Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated 09 October 1992.
