[ RESOLUTION NO. 2012-11 SERIES OF 2012, June 25, 2012 ]

PROVIDING FOR DISTINCT AND SEPARATE COMPONENTS FOR THE GENERAL EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION SUBJECTS IN THE BOARD LICENSURE EXAMINATION FOR PROFESSIONAL TEACHERS (BLEPT) IN THE SECONDARY LEVEL

WHEREAS, specialization subjects in the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) in the Secondary Level, i.e., Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE); Agriculture and Fishery Arts (AFA); Physical Sciences; and Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health (MAPEH) cover diversified areas of study; and

WHEREAS, since the foregoing BLEPT measures the competence of the professional teachers, the Tables of Specifications (TOS) for the aforesaid subjects have to be accordingly segregated to give due focus on specific major areas;

NOW, THEREFORE, the Board resolves, as it is hereby resolved, that the BLEPT in the Secondary Level shall have components for General Education and Professional Education subjects that are distinct and separate from those for the BLEPT in the Elementary Level.

FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall take effect after fifteen (15) days from the date of its full and complete publication in the Official Gazette or in a major daily newspaper of national circulation in the Philippines.

Let a copy hereof be furnished to the UP Law Center and other entities for its dissemination to all concerned.
