[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 42, February 05, 1947 ]
WAIVING THE ADDITIONAL PROGRESSIVE TAXES FOR THE 1945-46 CROP TO BE COLLECTED FROM AND PAID BY THE PROPRIETORS OR OPERATORS OF SUGAR MILLS.
In view of the present precarious condition of the sugar industry, I, Manuel Roxas, President of the Philippines , do hereby waive the additional progressive taxes provided for in section 2 of Commonwealth Act No, 567 for the 1945-46 crops to be collected from and paid by the proprietors or operators of sugar mills.
Done at the City of Manila , this 5th day of February, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-seven, and of the Independence of the Philippines , the first.
