[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 106, November 29, 1947 ]
EXTENDING FURTHER THE PERIODS PROVIDED FOR IN SECTIONS 3, 5, AND 6 OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 17, ENTITLED “AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE CIRCULATION OF TREASURY CERTIFICATES WITH THE OFFICIAL SEAL OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES STAMPED, PRINTED OR SUPER-IMPOSED THEREON, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.” AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 92.
By virtue of the powers vested in me by section 7 of Republic Act No. 17, as amended by Republic Act No. 92, I, Manuel Roxas, President of the Philippines, do hereby further extend for a period of three months the various periods provided for in sections 3, 5, and 6 of Republic Act No. 17, as last extended by Executive Order No. 83, dated August 21, 1947. This extension will expire on February 28, 1948.
Done at the City of Baguio, this 29th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-seven, and the Independence of the Philippines, the second.
