[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 254, July 25, 1987 ]
AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBERED ONE HUNDRED THIRTEEN, SERIES OF NINETEEN HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE
WHEREAS, due to the increased density of traffic volume, there is need to amend further Executive Order No. 113, s. 1955;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby order:
SECTION 1. The last sentence of No. I, General Provisions, of Executive Order No. 113, Series of 1955, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows:
SECTION 3. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
Done in the City of Manila, this 25th day of July, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-seven.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby order:
SECTION 1. The last sentence of No. I, General Provisions, of Executive Order No. 113, Series of 1955, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows:
"National roads shall have a right-of-way of not less than twenty (20) meters, provided that a right-of-way of at least sixty (60) meters shall be reserved for roads constructed through naturally forested areas of aesthetic or scientific value."SECTION 2. All laws, orders, issuances, rules and regulations or parts thereof inconsistent with this Executive Order are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
