[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 147, June 29, 1948 ]
EXTENDING THE PERIODS PROVIDED FOR IN SECTIONS 2, 4 AND 5 OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 199, ENTITLED “AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE RETIREMENT OF TREASURY CERTIFICATES OF PRE-WAR SERIES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES”
By virtue of the powers vested in me by section 6 of Republic Act No. 199, I, Elpidio Quirino, President of the Philippines, do hereby extend for a period of three months, or until September 30, 1948, the various periods provided for in sections 2, 4 and 5 of Republic Act No. 199.
Done in the City of Manila, this 29th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-eight, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the second.
