[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 233, January 31, 1957 ]
RETURNING THE SEAT OF GOVERNMENT OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF NUEVA VALENCIA, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, FROM ITS PRESENT SITE AT THE BARRIO OF IGANG TO ITS FORMER SITE AT THE BARRIO OF SANTA ANA, SAME MUNICIPALITY.
Upon recommendation of the Provincial Board of Iloilo and pursuant to the provisions of Section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code, the seat of government of the Municipality of Nueva Valencia, Province of Iloilo, is hereby returned from its present site at the barrio of Igang to its former site at the barrio of Santa Ana of the same municipality.
This revokes accordingly Executive Order No. 291, series of 1949, transferring the seat of government of the said municipality from the barrio of Santa Ana to the barrio of Igang.
The return herein made shall take effect immediately.
Done in the City of Manila, this 31st day of January, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-seven, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the eleventh.
