[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 179, October 02, 1948 ]
FURTHER EXTENDING THE PERIOD FIXED IN ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 54, DATED MAY 7, 1948, AS EXTENDED BY EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 163, DATED AUGUST 12, 1948, WITHIN WHICH THE COMMITTEE CREATED TO EXAMINE THE ACTUAL CONDITIONS IN THE SURPLUS PROPERTY COMMISSION SHALL SUBMIT ITS REPORT AND RECOMMENDATIONS.
By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, Elpidio Quirino, President of the Philippines, do hereby further extend up to October 31, 1948, the period fixed in Administrative Order No. 54, dated May 7. 1948, as extended by Executive Order No. 163, dated August 12, 1948, within which the Committee therein created to examine the actual conditions in the Surplus Property Commission shall submit its report and recommendations to the President.
