[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 205, March 04, 1949 ]

ORGANIZING CERTAIN BARRIOS AND SITIOS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CARAMOAN, CAMARINES SUR, INTO AN INDEPENDENT MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE NAME OF ANDERSON, WITH THE SEAT OF GOVERNMENT AT THE BARRIO OF SAN MIGUEL.



Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Interior, and pursuant to the provisions of section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code, the barrios of San Miguel, Harrison, Toytoy, Sumaoy, Binagasbasan and Denrica, the sitios of San Vicente, Cagamotan, Tamiawon, Lamit, and Pulon Daga; the Malabungot islands, Lamit islands, Quinalanag island and a number of smaller islands nearby, all of the municipality of Caramoan, Province of Camarines Sur, are hereby organized into an independent municipality under the name of Anderson, with the seat of government at the barrio of San Miguel.

The boundary lines of the municipality of Anderson are as follows:

From point Imad, approximately 24 kilometers NW. of barrio Hibgos, a straight line with approximate direction of SW. to Lidong; thence straight until it intersects the Cabinitan River; thence, following the course of the said river upstream, to a point one kilometer upstream of said Cabinitan River; thence a straight line passing from this point in said river to Saddle Peak; thence a straight line with a direction of northwest to Mount Tiis; thence northwest till it intersects the Sipaco River at a point near the boundary of the Agricultural Colony; thence following the course of the Sipaco River down to the mouth.

From the mouth of the Sipaco River follow the beach line until the the depression near Denrica; thence a straight line to a point near Mapid.

The organization herein made shall take effect upon the appointment and qualification of the mayor, vice-mayor, and a majority of the municipal councilors,

Done in the City of Manila, this 4th day of March, in the year of our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-nine, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the third.
