[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 215, May 19, 1949 ]

REPEALING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 61, DATED JUNE 20, 1947, SO AS TO RESTORE THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE SURPLUS PROPERTY COMMISSION AS PROVIDED IN EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 87, DATED NOVEMBER 15, 1946.



By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, ELPIDIO QUIRINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby repeal Executive Order No. 61, dated June 20, 1947, and reorganize the Surplus Property Commission by reviving the composition thereof as provided in the third paragraph of Executive Order No. 27, dated November 18, 1946. As hereby reorganized, the Surplus Property Commission shall be composed of a Chairman and two members to be appointed by the President.

The Chairman end the two members shall serve on part time basis with per diems at such rates as the President may fix.

Done at the City of Manila, this 19th day of May, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-nine and of the Independence of the Philippines, the third.
