[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 104, March 23, 1946 ]

FURTHER AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 82, DATED DECEMBER 24, 1945, AS AMENDED BY EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 87, DATED JANUARY 24, 1946, WHICH AUTHORIZES THE PHILIPPINE PRESS WIRELESS, INC., MANILA, TO CONTINUE HANDLING BY RADIO OTHER TYPES OF SERVICE BESIDES THAT AUTHORIZED BY THE COMPANY’S FRANCHISE



WHEREAS, the conditions which required the issuance of Executive Orders Nos. 82 and 87 on December 24, 1945, and January 24, 1946, respectively, still exist and will continue to exist for some time;

WHEREAS, no additional radio communication facilities have yet been re-established in the Philippines since the issuance of Executive Order No.87 above mentioned;

WHEREAS, public interest, convenience and necessity require that the temporary authority granted to the Philippine Press Wireless, Inc., under Executive Order No. 82 and extended by Executive Order No. 87, be further extended;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SERGIO OSMEÑA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution and existing laws of’ the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Philippine Press Wireless, Inc., to continue handling telecommunication services besides that type of service authorized in its franchise for a period of three months from March 24, 1946.

Done at the City of Manila, this 23rd day of March, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-six, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the eleventh.
