[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 198, April 04, 1939 ]

MAKING ALLOTMENTS OF THE APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE PHILIPPINE ARMY AUTHORIZED BY COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 300, IN ADDITION TO THOSE INCLUDED IN EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 190, CURRENT SERIES, FOR EXPENDITURES OF THE EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENTS OF THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT DURING THE PERIOD FROM JANUARY 1 TO JUNE 30, 1939



The following allotments of appropriations authorized by Commonwealth Act Numbered Three hundred are made for the Philippine Army in addition to those included in Executive Order Numbered One hundred and ninety, dated February twenty-eighth, nineteen hundred and thirty-nine, for expenditures of the executive departments of the National Government during the period from January first to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and thirty-nine:

PURPOSE I.—PERSONNEL

Additional allotment

A. COMMISSIONED OFFICERS AND CADETS

1. Base pay

P500,000.00

B. REGULAR FORCE—ENLISTED MEN

8. Base pay

P200,000.00

C. REGULAR FORCE—TRAINEES

14. Clothing allowance

250,000.00

PURPOSE II.—MAINTENANCE. OF PERSONNEL

168. Subsistence of the regular force

107,000.00

169. Subsistence of trainees

250,000.00

 

 

  Total
1,307,000.00

The grand total of the funds allotted up to this date from the appropriations provided in Commonwealth Act Numbered Three hundred, including those authorized in Executive Order Numbered One hundred and ninety, current series, should, therefore, amount to thirty-eight million five hundred eighty-nine thousand four hundred and seventy pesos.

Done at the City of Manila, this fourth day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and thirty-nine, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the fourth.
