[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 644, November 21, 1953 ]

AMENDING SECTION 5-c OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 601 DATED JUNE 26, 1953, ENTITLED “PRESCRIBING RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF RESERVE OFFICERS IN THE REGULAR FORCE, ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES”



Section 5-c of Executive Order No. 601 dated June 26, 1953, is hereby amended to read as follows:

“(c) Reserve officers appointed and commissioned in the Regular Force in the Navy shall be inserted in the Regular Force promotion list for the Navy as follows:
(1)
Those with thirteen or more years of active commissioned service on May 28, 1952, shall be placed at the bottom of the promotion list for Lieutenant Commanders in effect on the date of publication of the integration orders.
(2)
Those with ten or more but less than thirteen years of active commissioned service on May 28, 1952, shall be placed at the bottom of the promotion list for Lieutenants in effect on the date of publication of the integration orders.
(3)
Those with seven or more but less than ten years of active commissioned service on May 28, 1952, shall be integrated as Lieutenant Junior Grade to be placed above the first in the promotion list for Lieutenant Junior Grade in effect on the date of the publication of the integration orders.
(4)
Those with four or more but less than seven years of active commissioned service on May 28, 1952, shall be placed at the bottom, of the promotion list for Lieutenant Junior Grade in effect on the date of the publication of the integration orders.”
Done in the City of Manila, this 21st day of November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-three, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the eighth.
