[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 53, October 03, 1963 ]

ABOLISHING THE JUAN LUNA CENTENNIAL COMMISSION



By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, do hereby abolish the Juan Luna Centennial Commission created by Executive Order No. 254, dated June 27, 1957, as amended by Executive Order No. 276, dated October 31, 1957.

All the functions, property, equipment, records, and unexpended balance of the funds of the Commission shall be transferred to the National Museum; provided, that the unexpended funds shall be used solely for the purchase of paintings, documents, and other relics of Juan Luna.

An accounting of the assets, equipment, funds shall be made prior to the transfer.

Done in the City of Manila, this 3rd day of October, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-three.
