[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 80, July 26, 1967 ]
AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 29 DATED JUNE 9, 1966, AS AMENDED BY EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 35 DATED JULY 27, 1966, ENTITLED “CREATING THE PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL”
The second paragraph of Executive Order No. 29 dated June 9, 1966, as amended by Executive Order No. 35 dated July 27, 1966, is hereby amended to read as follows:
“Similar councils on provincial and city levels are likewise create, composed of the Provincial Governor and the City Mayor, as the case may be, and representatives of the publishing, Catholic, Protestant, Iglesia ni Cristo, leading civic and, in predominantly Muslim areas, Muslim groups, as members. The local council shall elect the chairman from among its members.”
Done in the City of Manila, this 26th day of July, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-seven.
