ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 7

[ ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 7, June 07, 1945 ]

APPOINTING MEMBERS OF THE EMERGENCY CURRENCY COMMITTEE TO REPORT ON THE BONA-FIDE EMERGENCY CURRENCIES ISSUED BY DULY AUTHORIZED EMERGENCY CURRENCY BOARDS IN ALL PROVINCES LIBERATED FROM ENEMY OCCUPATION AND CONTROL



Pursuant to the provisions of Title I, paragraph 4, of Executive Order No. 25, dated November 18, 1944, as amended by Executive Order No. 46, current series, the following are hereby appointed members of the Emergency Currency Committee to study, investigate, and report on the bona-fide emergency currencies issued by duly authorized emergency currency boards in all provinces liberated from enemy occupation and control:
Hon. ANGEL S. GAMBOA, Acting Judge at Large, to act as Chairman;
Mr. SANTIAGO RAMOS, Acting Supervising Auditor, General Auditing Office, Member; and
Mr. PABLO TOBIAS, Acting Chief of Division (National Finance Division), Department of Finance, Member.
The Committee hereby constituted will proceed at once in accordance with said Executive Order No. 25, as amended, and submit its findings and recommendations to the President of the Philippines, through the Secretary of Finance.

In the fulfilment of its duties, the Committee or any of its members is hereby vested with authority to take testimony or evidence with all the incidental powers thereto as provided in section 580 of the Administrative Code. All offices of the Commonwealth Government in the provinces, cities, and municipalities concerned shall extend to the committee the assistance it may need in carrying out its functions.

Done at the City of Manila this 7th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-five, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the tenth.
