CREATING AND DESIGNATING PARCELS OF LAND OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN SITUATED AT BARANGAY MADAUM, CITY OF TAGUM, PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL NORTE, ISLAND OF MINDANAO AS SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916 AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748



Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995 as amended by Republic Act No. 8748 and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations and Resolution No. 08-271 dated 29 May 2008, of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, an area located at Barangay Madaum, Tagum City, Davao del Norte as special economic zone, consisting of Six Hundred Thirty Nine Thousand Two Hundred Sixty Nine (639,269) Square Meters, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:

A parcel of land (Lot 2, Pcs-11-004561), being a portion of Lot B-2-C-2-F, Psd-11-056063 Amd. 2 and Lot B-2-B, Psd-11-010767, situated in the Barrio of Madaum, City of Tagum, Province of Davao del Norte, Island of Mindanao.
