[ PROCLAMATION NO. 269, October 10, 2011 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, 14 NOVEMBER 2011, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PANTUKAN, PROVINCE OF COMPOSTELA VALLEY



WHEREAS, Sunday, 13 November 2011, the Municipality of Pantukan, Compostela Valley marks the celebration of the “Araw ng Pantukan” in observance of its Foundation Day anniversary;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Municipality of Pantukan, Compostela Valley participate in the occasion, the Sangguniang Bayan requested that Monday, 14 November 2011, be declared as special (non-working) day instead of 13 November 2011, which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Pantukan, Compostela Valley, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Monday, 14 November 2011, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Pantukan, Compostela Valley.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
