WHEREAS, every past administration in the country reflects a particular period in our nation's rich history; and

WHEREAS, it is only fitting and proper that Malacañang Palace, residence and office of the President of the Philippines should recognize the historic connection past presidents have with Malacañang Palace.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by law, do hereby rename the Executive Office, Kalayaan Hall, Malacañang Palace, established by President Manuel L.
