[ PROCLAMATION NO. 639, August 22, 2013 ]
DECLARING THURSDAY, 12 SEPTEMBER 2013, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY LIPA
WHEREAS , the City of Lipa will host thousands of devotees for the National Pilgrimage, a day of prayer for peace and the sanctification of the clergy on Thursday, 12 September 2013;
WHEREAS , in order for the people of the City of Lipa to participate in the event, the Office of the Mayor requested that 12 September 2013 be declared as a special non-working day.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR. , Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Thursday, 12 September 2013, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Lipa.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF , I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
