[ PROCLAMATION NO. 664, July 09, 2004 ]

DECLARING SATURDAY, JULY 10, 2004, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN SANTA ROSA, LAGUNA



WHEREAS, the Commission on Elections will conduct the plebiscite on July 10, 2004, to ratify the conversion of the Municipality of Santa Rosa in the Province of Laguna into a component city to be known as the City of Santa Rosa, pursuant to Republic Act No. 9264;

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of Santa Rosa, Laguna ample time to exercise their right to vote, there is a need to declare July 10, 2004 as special (non-working) day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO. Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Saturday, July 10, 2004, as special (non-working) day in Santa Rosa, Laguna.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 9th day of July, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Four.
