DECLARING MONDAY, 19 JUNE 2017, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF LAGUNA
WHEREAS, Monday, 19 June 2017, marks the 156th birth anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, our national hero; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Laguna, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies in keeping with his ideals and teachings.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 19 June 2017, as a special (non-Working) day in the Province of Laguna.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 1st day of June, in the year of Our Lord Two Thousand and Seventeen.
