[ PROCLAMATION NO. 15, September 20, 1945 ]

CALLING THE CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES IN SPECIAL SESSION



By virtue of the powers conferred upon me by the provisions of Article VI, section 9, of the Constitution of the Philippines, and in order that the Congress may consider and pass the 1946 appropriation bill, the public works bills, and the bill increasing the number of Judges of First Instance, I, SERGIO OSMEÑA, President of the Philippines, do hereby call the Congress of the Philippines in special session for a period of ten days commencing on Saturday, September 22, 1945, at four o’clock in the afternoon.

All persons entitled to sit as members of the Congress of the Philippines are requested to take notice of this proclamation.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done at the City of Manila, this 20th day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-five, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the tenth.
