[ PROCLAMATION NO. 806, March 15, 2005 ]

DECLARING TUESDAY, APRIL 19, 2005, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TARLAC



WHEREAS, Tuesday, April 19, 2005, marks the conversion of the Municipality of Tarlac into a City, which was signed into law by then President Fidel V. Ramos, and was ratified by the people of Tarlac thru a plebiscite;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tarlace be given full opportunity to celebrate the momentous event in the history of Tarlac, in a series of activities aimed at promoting the city’s rich culture, products and resources.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, April 19, 2005, as special (non-working) day in the City of Tarlac.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 15th day of March, in the year of our Lord, Two Thousand and Five.
