[ PROCLAMATION NO. 408, April 11, 1957 ]
RESERVING FOR MUNICIPAL BUILDING SITE PURPOSES A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DANAO, PROVINCE OF CEBU, ISLAND OF CEBU
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of section 83 of Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale and settlement and reserve for Municipal Building Site purposes under the administration of the municipality of Danao, subject to private rights, if any there be, a certain portion of the public domain situated in the municipality of Danao, province of Cebu, island of Cebu, and more particularly described as follows, to wit:
A parcel of land (lot 1 of plan Mr-1110), situated in the poblacion, municipality of Danao, province of Cebu., Bounded on the SE., along line 1-2, by property of the Municipal Government of Danao and property claimed by Pedro Sepulveda; along line, 2-3, by property; claimed; by Pedro Sepulveda, Jacinta Muñoz and Roque Jayson; along line 3-10, by lot 2 of plan Mr-1110; and along line 10-1, by provincial road. Beginning at a point marked 1 on plan, being N. 76° 01′ W., 35.44 meters from B.L.L.M. 1, municipality of, Danao, Cebu, thence S. 30° 00′ W., 100.62 meters to point 2; thence N. 57° 16′ W., 83.98 meters to point 3; thence N.23° 27′ E., 25.65 meters to point 4; thence N. 53° 09′ E., 30.64 meters to point 5; thence N. 67° 59′ E., 15.63 meters to point 6; thence N. 78° 00’ E.,16.11 meters, to point 7; thence S. 85° 06′ E., 9.84 meters to point 8; thence S. 76° 28′ E., 18.80 meters to point 9; thence N.37° 25′ E., 11.58 meters to point 10; thence S 57° 23′ E., 24.74 meters to the point of beginning; containing an area of 6,787 square meters. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground by Old Points; bearings true:
