RESERVING FOR BRANCH OFFICE SITE PURPOSES OF THE SOCIAL WELFARE ADMINISTRATION (SWA) CERTAIN PARCELS OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN OF THE GOVERNMENT, SITUATED IN THE DISTRICT OF MALATE, CITY OF MANILA
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of section 64(e) of the Revised Administrative Code in relation to section 1 of Republic Act No, 477, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for branch office site purposes under the administration of the Social Welfare Administration (SWA), subject to private rights, if any there be, certain parcels of the private domain of the Government situated in the District of Malate, City of Manila, and more particularly described as follows:
A parcel of land (Lot 1-B subdivision plan), situated in the District of Malate, City of Manila. Bounded on the NE., by property of Arsenia Tambunting; on the SE., by property of Compania de Beatas de la Virgen Maria (lot A of the subdivision plan); on the SW., by property of the Roman Catholic Church; and on the NW. by property of Compania de Beatas de la Virgen Maria (lot 1-C of the subdivision plan). Beginning at a point marked 1 on plan, being S. 70° 57′ W., 87.44 m. from fire hydrant 97, City of Manila, thence N. 22° 06′ W., 12.86 m. to point 2; thence N. 67° 28′ E., 22.54 m. to point 3; thence S. 24° 43′ E., 10.39 m. to point 4; thence S. 61° 19′ W., 23.17 m. to point 1, point of beginning; containing an area of 265.10 square meters. All points referred to are marked on the ground by old corners; bearings true; date of the original survey, November 14, 1913 and that of the subdivision survey, February 21, 1920.
