[ PROCLAMATION NO. 441, September 04, 1957 ]

EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF THE BAGUIO TOWNSITE RESERVATION A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN THE SAID CITY AND DECLARING THE SAME OPEN TO DISPOSITION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER X OF THE PUBLIC LAND ACT



Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of sections 83 and 99 of Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from the operation of the Baguio Town-site Reservation a certain parcel of land situated in the said City and declare the same open to disposition under the provisions of Chapter X of the said Act, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:

A parcel of land (as shown on plan Sga-558), situated in the District of Res. Sec. “A”, City of Baguio. Bounded on the W., along line 1-2, by lot 2, Swo-19505, portion; along line 2-3, by lot 2, Swo-19505, portion; along line 3-5, by Governor Pack Road; and along line 5-1, by lot 2, Swo-19505, portion. Beginning at a point marked 1 on plan, being N. 11° 30′ W., 308.85 meters from Triangulation Station “Happy”, Baguio Townsite, thence N. 1° 51′ W., 25.05 meters  to point 2; thence N. 87° 53′ E., 20.94 meters to point 3; thence S. 3° 51′ E., 6 meters to point 4; thence S. 7° 49′ W., 19.50 meters to point 5; thence S. 88° 23′ W., 17.88 meters to the point of beginning; containing an area of 500 square meters. All points referred to are indicated on the1 plan and marked on the ground as follows: Point 4, by old B.L. cylindrical concrete monument and the rest by B.L. cylindrical concrete monuments; bearings true; date of survey, July 25, 29 & 30, 1957 and that of the approval, August 7, 1957.

NOTE: This survey is a portion of Lot 2, Swo-19505.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set ray hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 4th day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-seven, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the twelfth.
