[ PROCLAMATION NO. 483, February 04, 1958 ]

DECLARING THE LAST SEVEN DAYS OF FEBRUARY OF EVERY YEAR AS "PHILIPPINE INDUSTRY AND NEPA WEEK"



WHEREAS, the last week of February of every year is Philippine Industry and Made-in-the-Philippine Products Week under Proclamation No. 222 dated December 3, 1955; and

WHEREAS, “Made-in-the-Philippines Products Week” is more commonly known as NEPA Week;

Now, THEREFORE, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, in recognition of the long unselfish services of the National Economic Protectionism Association (NEPA) in the promotion of local products, do hereby declare the last seven days of February of every year as “Philippine Industry and NEPA Week.”

Proclamation No. 222 dated December 3, 1955, is hereby revoked.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 4th day of February, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-eight, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the twelfth.
