[ PROCLAMATION NO. 507, May 06, 1958 ]
DECLARING WEDNESDAY, MAY 7, 1958, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MORONG, RIZAL
Whereas, the sixty-sixth birthday of Tomas Claudio, our hero in World War I, falls on May 7, 1958;
WHEREAS, the people of Morong, Rizal, his birthplace, desire that they be given full opportunity to celebrate his birthday;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Wednesday, May 7, 1958, as a special public holiday in the municipality of Morong, Rizal.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 6th day of May, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-eight, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the twelfth.
