RESERVING FOR CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY BUILDING SITE PURPOSES A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN OF THE GOVERNMENT SITUATED IN THE DISTRICT OF SAN NICOLAS, CITY OF MANILA
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of section 64 (e) of the Revised Administrative Code, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale or other disposition and reserve for City Public Library Building site purposes under the administration of the City of Manila, subject to private rights, if any there be, a certain portion of the private domain situated in the District of San Nicolas, City of Manila, and more particularly described as follows, to wit:
A parcel of land (Lot 1-A of the subdivision plan Psd-49063, being a portion of Lot 1, Block 1839 of the Cadastral Survey of the City of Manila, G.L.R.O. Cadastral Record No. ———, as shown on Plan F-12-14, office of the City Engineer, situated in the District of San Nicolas, City of Manila. Bounded on the NE., along 1-2, by Lot 1-B of the subdivision plan; along lines 2-5, by Lot 1-B of the subdivision plan; and along line 5-1, by Muelle de la Industria. Beginning at a point marked 1 on plan, being N. 49° 33′ E., 39.66 meters from fire hydrant 316, City of Manila; thence S. 39° 08′ E., 16.72 meters to point 2; thence S. 84° 54′ E., 6.75 meters to point 3; thence S. 4° 57′ W., 7.07 meters to point 4; thence N. 85° 01′ W., 17.97 meters to point 5; thence N. 3° 43′ E., 19.09 meters to the point of beginning; containing an area of 196 square meters. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground as follows: Point 1, by old P.L.S. Cylindrical Concrete Monument, 15 by 60 centimeters; and points 2, 3, 4 and 5, by P.L.S. Cylindrical Concrete Monuments 15 by 60 centimeters; bearings true; date of the original survey, March-July 1915, and that of the subdivision survey, October 10, 1956.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
