RESERVING FOR SPECIFIC PUBLIC PURPOSES CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TUPI, PROVINCE OF COTABATO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of section 83 of Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale and disposition and reserve for specific public purposes, as enumerated hereunder, subject to private rights if any there be, certain portions of the public domain situated in the municipality of Tupi, province of Cotabato, island of Mindanao, and more particularly described as follows:
A parcel of land (Lot 1 as shown on plan Mr-1123, sheet 1), situated in the poblacion, municipality of Tupi, province of Cotabato. Bounded on the NE., along line 1-2 by National Highway; and on the SE., SW. and NW., along lines 2-3-4-5-1 by road. Beginning at a point marked 1 on plan, being N. 56° 53′ E., 3,396.03 meters from C. and G. Triangulation Station “Tupi”, municipality of Tupi, Cotabato, thence S. 42° 59′ E., 140.30 meters to point 2; thence S. 47° 00′ W., 138.63 meters to point 3; thence S. 46° 38′ W., 48.64 meters to point 4; thence N. 43° 53′ W., 135.59 meters to point 5; and thence N. 45° 51′ E., 189.50 meters to the point of beginning; containing an area of 25,963 square meters. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and marked on the ground as follows: point 2 by P.L.S./NLSA concrete monuments: point 3 by P.L.S./ LSDC concrete monuments; and the rest by B.L. concrete monuments bearings true; date of the survey, July 18 and 28 and Sept. 16-17, 1957.
