[ PROCLAMATION NO. 589, September 13, 2018 ]
DECLARING MONDAY, 15 OCTOBER 2018 AND FRIDAY, 26 OCTOBER 2018, SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAYS IN THE CITY OF ANGELES, PROVINCE OF PAMPANGA
WHEREAS, on 15 October 2018 (Monday) and 26 October 2018 (Friday), the City of Angeles, Province of Pampanga, will mark the opening day of the Kuliat Festival (Fiestang Kuliat) and the Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan, a festival which symbolizes the resilience of the people during the Mt. Pinatubo eruption, respectively; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Angeles be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in these occasions with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare 15 October 2018 and 26 October 2018 special (non-working) days in the City of Angeles, Province of Pampanga.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
