DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER 26 TO OCTOBER 2, 2005 AS "HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT WEEK"
WHEREAS, the Personnel Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) will hold its 42nd Annual Conference on September 28 to 30, 2005 at the Waterfront Hotel, Lahug, Cebu City, with the theme "GAWA HINDI DADA’ (Delivering Results Thru Purposeful Action);
WHEREAS, the conference aims to generate mindset of urgency and collective action by presenting models and success stories from the different sectors of society;
WHEREAS, there is a need to recognize the commitment of the Human Resource Management practitioners to the development and promotion of the country’s human resource; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to focus national attention on the significance of Human Resource Management (HRM) in attaining the highest potential of Filipinos as managers, as workers, and as empowered and technology-proficient of a new country of economic growth and social progress.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
