[ PROCLAMATION NO. 124, June 24, 1963 ]

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 830, DATED JULY 19, 1935, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE BAGUIO ROCK QUARRY RESERVATION, BY RESERVING FOR MOTOR POOL AND PARK SITE PURPOSES CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE LAND EMBRACED THEREIN SITUATED IN BAGUIO CITY AND DECLARING THE REMAINING PORTIONS OPEN TO DISPOSITION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE PUBLIC LAND ACT



Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of sections 83 and 88 of Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 830, dated July 19, 1935, which established the Baguio Rock Quarry Reservation, by reserving for motor pool and park site purposes under the administration of the City of Baguio, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to future survey, certain portions of the land embraced therein situated in the City of Baguio and more particularly described hereunder and declare the remaining portions open to disposition under the provisions of the Public Land Act.

Proposed Park I

A parcel of land (the proposed Park I), situated in the City of Baguio. Bounded on all sides by the remaining portion of Lot 1 (Lot 210-A), Rock Quarry Reservation. Beginning at a point marked 1, on the attached sketch plan, being S. 3° 28′ E., 244.00 meters from B.L. 20, Baguio City, thence S. 81° 05′ E., 26.75 meters to point 2; thence S. 8° 15′ W., 65.50 meters to point 3; thence N. 76° 45′ W., 22.50 meters to point 4; thence N. 7° 40′ W., 17.00 meters to point 5; thence N. 8° 39′ E., 47.50 meters to the point of beginning; containing an approximate area of 1,092 square meters, more or less.

Proposed Park II

A parcel of land (the proposed Park II), situated in the City of Baguio. Bounded on the SE., S. and SW», along lines 1-2-3-4-5 by City Camp Road; on the W. and NW., along lines 5-6-7 by the remaining portion of Lot 1 (Lot 210-A), Rock Quarry Reservation; on the NE., along line 7-8 by the remaining portions of Lot 1 (Lot 210-A) and Lot 6 (Lot 9); Rock Quarry Reservation; and on the SE., along line 8-1 by City Camp Road. Beginning at a point marked 1 on the attached sketch plan, being S. 34° 56′ E., 381.50 meters from B.L. 20, Baguio City, thence S. 82° 50′ W., 20.10 meters to point 2; thence N. 79° 32′ W., 23.84 meters to point 3; thence N. 59° 15′ W., 22.50 meters to point 4; thence N. 58° 10′ W., 22.50 meters to point 5; thence N. 16° 31′ W., 8.34 meters to point 6; thence N. 34° 39′ E., 13.14 meters to point 7; thence S. 70° 08′ E., 83.50 meters to point 8; thence S. 1° 37′ W., 16.41 meters to the point of beginning; containing an approximate area of 2,112 square meters, more or less

Motor Pool Site

A parcel of land (Motor Pool Site as shown on the attached sketch plan), situated in the City of Baguio. Bounded on the SW. W., and NW. and N., along lines 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 by Lot 1 (Lot 210-A), Rock Quarry Reservation; and on the SE., along line 7-1 by Sunrise Subdivision. Beginning at a point marked 1 on the attached sketch plan, being S. 10° 14′ E., 619.93 meters from B.L.L.M. 21, Baguio City, thence N. 61° 18′ 121.22 meters to point 2; thence N. 57° 50′ W., 73.50 meters to point 3; thence N. 9° 51′ WL, 49.79 meters to point 4; thence N. 86° 30 E., 75.00 meters to point 5; thence S. 77° 22′ E., 94.20 meters to point 6; thence S. 56° 34′ E., 104.22 meters to point 7; thence S. 44° 18′ W., 126.51 meters to the point of beginning; containing an approximate area of 23,125 square meters, more or less.
