[ PROCLAMATION NO. 144, August 02, 1963 ]
TRANSFERRING THE CELEBRATION OF WORLD HEALTH DAY TO THE THIRD MONDAY OF SEPTEMBER OF EVERY YEAR
WHEREAS, the twenty-second day of. July of each year is World Health Day under Proclamation No. 129, dated May 4, 1948; and
WHEREAS, representations have been made that it would be more advantageous to celebrate World Health Day on the third Monday of September to coincide with Medicine Week and to allow the participation of schools;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by law, do hereby transfer the celebration of World Health Day to the third Monday of September of every year.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 2nd day of August, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-three.
