[ PROCLAMATION NO. 387, April 17, 1953 ]
RESERVING FOR TOWNSITE PURPOSES A CERTAIN PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DIGOS, PROVINCE OF DAVAO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO.
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of Section seventy-two of Commonwealth Act Numbered one hundred forty-one, as amended, I hereby reserve for townsite purposes, subject to the disposition under Chapter XI of the said Act and to private rights, if any there be, a certain parcel of the public domain situated in the Municipality of Digos, Province of Davao, Island of Mindanao, and more particularly described in the Bureau of Lands plan Psd-73570, to wit:

(The Mun. Gov’t of Digos –
Digos Townsite)
A parcel of land (Lot 8232-A of the subdivision plan Psd-33570, being a portion of Lot 8232 of the cadastral survey of Sta. Cruz, G.L.E.O. Cad. Record No. ), situated in the Poblacion, Municipality of Digos, Province of Davao. Bounded on the N., by Lot 8231, Sta. Cruz Cad. And Lot 8232-B of the subdivision plan; on the E., by Lot 8232-B of the subdivision plan and Lots 1600 and 1599, Sta. Cruz Cad.; and on the W., by Provincial Road. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan, being S. 79 deg. 41’ W., 1644.85 m. from B.L.L.M. 7, Sta. Cruz Cad. 275,

thence S. 3 deg. 14’ W., 36.50 m. to point “3”;
thence S. 3 deg. 14′ W., 59.46 m. to point “4”;

thence N. 86 deg. 40’ W., 82.84 m. to point “7”;
thence N. 87 deg. 01’ W., 33.97 m. to point “8”;
thence N. 3 deg. 07’ E., 42.53 m. to point “9”;
thence N. 3 deg. 38′ E., 39.28 m. to point “10”;
thence S. 86 deg. 22’ E., 84.79 m. to point “11”;
thence S. 88 deg. 26′ E., 231.50 m. to point of
beginning; containing an area of ONE MILLION TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND AND NINETY EIGHT (1,200,098) Square Meters, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground as follows: points 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, by P.L.S. Cyl. Conc. Mons.; and the rest, by Old Corners; bearings true; declination 2 deg. 07’ E.; dated of the original survey, April, 1935 – April, 1939 and that of the subdivision survey, Feb. 15, 1931.”
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
