[ PROCLAMATION NO. 446, December 23, 1953 ]

RESERVING FOR FLOOD CONTROL PURPOSES A CERTAIN PARCEL OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN OF THE GOVERNMENT SITUATED IN THE DISTRICT OF STA. ANA, CITY OF MANILA

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of Section 64(e) of the Revised Administrative Code in relation to Section 1 of Republic Act No. 477, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for flood control purposes under the administration of the Bureau of Public Works, subject to private rights, if any there be a certain parcel of the private domain of the Government situated in the District of Sta. Ana, City of Manila, and more particularly described in the Bureau of Lands Plan Psd-38175, to wit:

“A parcel of land (lot 6-A-l of the subdivision plan Psd 38175, being a portion of Lot 6-A, described in the Transfer Certificate of Title No. 52099, G.L.R.O. Record No. ___) situated in the District of Sta. Ana, City of Manila. Bounded on the N.W., by the Pasig River; on the N.E., by Lot 6-A-2 of the subdivision plan; on the S.E. by the property of Marcelo Steel Co. (Transfer Certificate of Title 23827); and on the S.W., by the Pasig River. Beginning at a point marked ”1” on the plan, being N. 66 deg. 22′ W., 705.88 m. from the Sta. Ana Church spire;

thence N.	3 deg.	26’ W.,	85.48 m.	to	point 2;
thence N.	20 deg.	55’ E.,	100.26 m.	to	point 3;
thence N.	43 deg.	44′ E.,	94.06 m.	to	point 4;
thence S.	20 deg.	45′ E.,	164.06 m.	to	point 5;
thence S.	58 deg.	42’ W.,	180.03 m.	to	the point

of beginnin; containing an area of TWENTY-ONE THOUSAND AND FIFTY-NINE (21,059) square meters, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground as follows: points 1, 2 and 3, by old corners; and points 4 and 5 by P.L.S. Cyl. Conc. Monuments 15 x 60 cms.; bearings true; declination variable;, date of original survey, Jan.-Feb., 1913, and that of the subdivision survey, March 3 and 4, 1953.”

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
