[ PROCLAMATION NO. 176, August 08, 1955 ]
REVOKING PROCLAMATION NO. 94 DATED NOVEMBER 20, 1954, AND DECLARING THE PARCEL OR PARCELS OF LAND EMBRACED THEREIN SITUATED IN THE CITY OF DANSALAN OPEN TO DISPOSITION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE PUBLIC LAND ACT
In order to focus public attention on the coconut industry, one of the pillars of the national economy, and thereby give impetus to its development and to the solution of the problems confronting it, I, Ramon Magsaysay, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from August 19 to 25, 1955, as Coconut Industry Week.
The Philippine Coconut Administration is hereby designated to take charge of the celebration of the Week.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 8th day of August, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-five, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the tenth.
