[ PROCLAMATION NO. 268 (1), February 29, 1956 ]
RESERVING FOR GRAVEL PROCESSING PLANT SITE PURPOSES A CERTAIN PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MONTALBAN, PROVINCE OF RIZAL, ISLAND OF LUZON
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the Provisions of Section 83 of Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended, I, RAMON MAGSAYSAY, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for gravel processing plant site purposes under the administration of the Bureau of Public Highways, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to reimbursement of the value of permanent improvements introduced by the actual occupants thereof, if the same can not be removed without causing any damage, a certain parcel of the public domain situated in the Municipality of Montalban, Province of Rizal, and more particularly described, to wit:
“A PARCEL OF LAND (a portion of the public Domain) situated in the Municipality of Montalban, Province of Rizal. Bounded on the N., by Public Land and Creek; on the S., by Creek; and on the W., by Mariquina River. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan, being S. 57 deg. 12′ W., 1069.30 m. from B.L.L.M. 1, Mp of Montalban, Rizal,
thence S. 61 deg. 52′ W., 48.00 m. to point “2”;
thence N. 29 deg. 38′ W., 222.00 m. to point “3”;
thence S. 3 deg. 30′ W., 273.79 m. to point “4”;
thence N. 71 deg. 30′ W., 150.00 m. to point “5”;
thence N. 71 deg. 30′ E., 100.63 m. to point “6”;
thence N. 9 deg. 35′ E., 120.00 m to point “7”;
thence N. 18 deg. 00′ W., 300.00 m. to point “8”;
thence N. 81 deg 00′ E., 150.00 m. to point “9”;
thence S. 10 deg. 57′ E., 290.63 m. to point “10”;
thence S. 29 deg. 38′ E., 225.00 m. to point “11”;
thence N. 61 deg. 52′ E., 46.00 m. to point “12”;
thence S. 11 deg. 11′ W., 9.06 m. to the point of
beginning; containing an approximate area of SEVENTY ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FORTY SEVEN SQUARE METERS AND SEVENTY SQUARE DECIMETERS (71,747.70). All points referred to are indicated on the attached sketch plan of the Dept. of Engineering & Public Works, Division of Streets and Bridges, City of Manila.” Note: Data are all approximate and subject to change for future surveys. The lot described above is being claimed by the Municipal Government of Montalban.
