DECLARING MONDAY, 12 OCTOBER 2020 AND FRIDAY, 30 OCTOBER 2020, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAYS IN THE CITY OF ANGELES, PROVINCE OF PAMPANGA
WHEREAS, on 12 October 2020 (Monday) and 30 October 2020 (Friday), the City of Angeles, Province of Pampanga, will mark the opening day of the Kuliat Festival (Fiestang Kuliat) and the Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan, a festival which symbolizes the resilience of the people during the Mt. Pinatubo eruption, respectively; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Angeles be given the full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by the authority of the President. RODRIGO ROA DUTERE, do hereby declare 12 October 2020 and 30 October 2020 as special (non-working) days in the City of Angeles, Province of Pampanga.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
