DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 08 FEBRUARY 2023, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TIAONG, PROVINCE OF QUEZON
WHEREAS, Claro M. Recto was born on 08 February 1890 in Tiaong, Province of Quezon. A former Associate Justice of the Supreme Court and a former Senator, he is also known to be the author of Republic Act No. 1425 or the Rizal Law;
WHEREAS, on 08 February 2023, Wednesday, the Municipality of Tiaong, Province of Quezon will commemorate the birth anniversary of Claro M. Recto;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Tiaong be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Wednesday, 08 February 2023, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Tiaong, Province of Quezon.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
