ENCOURAGING ALL NATIONAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, INSTRUMENTALITIES AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS TO SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATE IN THE MEASLES-RUBELLA AND BIVALENT ORAL POLIO VACCINE SUPPLEMENTAL IMMUNIZATION ACTIVITY (MR-BOPV SIA) FROM 01 TO 31 MAY 2023
The Department of Health (DOH) will hold a Measles-Rubella and Bivalent Oral Polio Vaccine Supplemental Immunization Activity from 01 to 31 May 2023, which aims to prevent an imminent outbreak of measles and sustain the country's polio-free status.
In this regard, all government agencies and instrumentalities, including government-owned or -controlled corporations, government financial institutions, state universities and colleges, and local government units are encouraged to support and participate in the abovementioned activity, provided that their participation will not adversely affect the operations of their offices, and the delivery of services to the public.
This Circular shall take effect immediately.
