AMENDMENT TO CAO 2-79, GOVERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT, OPERATION AND SUPERVISION OF CUSTOMS BONDED MANUFACTURING WAREHOUSE



By authority of Section 608 and pursuant to the provisions of Sec. 2001 to 2004 of the TCCP, as amended, CAO 2-79 governing the establishment, operation and supervision of Customs Bonded Manufacturing Warehouse is hereby amended as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 5 of CAO 2-79 on Documentary Requirements is hereby amended by deleting "i. BOI Indorsement of the application" as a documentary requirement in the application for the establishment of a Customs Bonded Manufacturing Warehouse (CBMW).

SECTION 2. Other provisions of CAO 2-79 not in conflict with this Order shall remain in full force and effect. However, all Customs Administrative Orders, Memorandum Orders, Circulars, rules and regulations inconsistent herewith are hereby deemed superseded and/or amended accordingly.

SECTION 3. This Order shall take effect upon approval of the Secretary of Finance.
