[ DOH QUARANTINE ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 15, January 31, 1953 ]

PRESENTATION OF SMALLPOX VACCINATION CERTIFICATE



1.  All persons from abroad should present upon arrival at Philippine ports an authenticated smallpox vaccination certificate issued within the last three years.

2.  Any person arriving from abroad who does not possess such certificate shall be vaccinated upon arrival.

3.  Such person will be required to report daily for fourteen (14) days to the Director of Quarantine for observation.

4.  The company operating the carrier where such person was a passenger shall be responsible for the presentation of the passenger who has failed to present vaccination certificate to the Bureau of Quarantine.

5.  Refusal of the company to take the responsibility for presenting the passenger to the office of the Bureau of Quarantine for 14 days shall be subject the company for prosecution in accordance with law for violation of quarantine regulations.
