REVISED IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS OF CHAPTER II - "WATER SUPPLY" OF THE CODE ON SANITATION (PD 856)



Section 7. SANITARY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MANUFACTURE AND SALE OF WATER PURIFICATION EQUIPMENT, GADGETS AND DEVICES

Shall read as follows:

    7.1 Any person or entity, firm or company involved in the manufacture and sale of water, purification equipment, gadgets and devices including household water filters and water purifiers and similar apparatus imported or locally made shall submit an application to the Department of Health through the Bureau of Health Devices and Technology for review, testing and certification before they could market the said equipment, gadgets or devices.

    7.2 Expenses that will be incurred by the Department on laboratory examination and testing of the water treatment equipment, gadgets and devices shall be charged to the applicant.

    7.3 Fees for the Certification shall be in such amount that the Department will impose.

All other sections on Chapter II of the Supplemental IRR remain in full force and effect.
