TERMINATION OF SMALLPOX VACCINATION



In view of the declaration of the World Health Assembly that smallpox is eradicated throughout the world, effective 8 May 1980, the Bureau of Quarantine shall no longer require smallpox vaccination from incoming or outgoing passengers undertaking international travel.  Smallpox vaccination will no longer be administered in any Quarantine Clinic.
