(NAR) VOL. 11 NO.1 / JANUARY – MARCH 2000

[ MTRCB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 99-11, December 15, 1999 ]

STANDARD LAYOUT SIZES FOR MTRCB CLASSIFICATION IN PRINT ADVERTISEMENTS

The BOARD has observed that despite Memorandum Circular No. 98-13 issued by this Board on 07 September 1998 prescribing a standard lay-out for the MTRCB Classification in print advertisements, such classifications are still, at times, arbitrarily placed by producers/newspapers publishers, resulting in confusion to the film audience.

In this regard, all producers/distributors and newspapers/magazine publishers and editors are required to adopt the exact layout and prescribed sizes per column cms. as indicated in the attached pages. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in appropriate sanctions including the suspension and/or cancellation of the film’s Certificate Permit to Exhibit.

This Circular amends Memorandum Circular No. 98-13 issued by this board on 01 September 1998 and shall take effect immediately.

For your information and compliance.

Adopted: 15 Dec. 1999
